Alaska Rural Transit provides private group transportation by reservation. Each confirmed trip is reserved for your group only. You are not sharing the vehicle with other passengers, and your trip is not tied to fixed shuttle schedules.

Flexible Pickup and Direct Routing
Pickup time, route, pickup location, drop-off location, passenger count, luggage, and timing details are reviewed before the trip is confirmed. Private charter service is designed for travelers who need direct transportation, flexible timing, or a trip plan that does not fit a shared shuttle or fixed transit schedule.

Best For
Private charter transportation may be useful for small groups, families, lodge guests, climbers, expedition travelers, visitors traveling between Anchorage, Talkeetna, and Denali, travelers with delayed flights, missed train or bus connections, cruise timing issues, festival travel, and changed Alaska travel plans.

Passenger Count, Luggage, and Gear
Service may accommodate up to 6 passengers depending on luggage, gear, and available space. Tell us about suitcases, backpacks, coolers, fish boxes, skis, expedition gear, instruments, oversized items, or special luggage needs when requesting a quote.

Stops and Route Changes
One complimentary stop up to 1 hour may be available on qualifying routes. Additional stops, longer stops, route changes, passenger count changes, or extra luggage may require a revised quote before service is confirmed or completed.

Rates and Booking
Published rates are listed on the Rates & Routes page. Submitting a quote request does not reserve transportation. A reservation is confirmed only after Alaska Rural Transit reviews the request, accepts the trip, and receives the required deposit or prepayment.
