Reservations, Deposits, Payments, and Cancellations
Submitting an inquiry through this website does not reserve transportation.
A reservation is confirmed only after Alaska Rural Transit accepts the trip and receives the required deposit or prepayment.
Standard reservations require a 50% deposit. Same-day trips and special-event dates require full prepayment to confirm.
Rates shown are standard published fares. Card payments are accepted at the standard published fare. A 5% cash discount is available when the remaining balance is paid by cash or another approved non-card payment method.
Deposits, cancellations, no-shows, refunds, and customer-caused delays are governed by the Refund & Cancellation Policy.

Inquiry and Quote Requests
A quote request submitted through this website is an inquiry only.
Alaska Rural Transit may accept, decline, modify, or re-quote a requested trip based on availability, route, timing, passenger count, luggage, road conditions, weather, safety, or operational needs.
A trip is not confirmed until Alaska Rural Transit accepts the reservation and receives the required deposit or prepayment.

Rates and Route Changes
Published rates are standard published fares for private group transportation.
Rates may change if the requested route, pickup location, drop-off location, timing, passenger count, luggage, stops, or trip details change.
Customer-requested changes may require a revised quote before service is confirmed or completed.

Service Conditions
Alaska Rural Transit provides private group transportation by reservation.
Service may be delayed, rerouted, rescheduled, or canceled because of weather, road conditions, closures, traffic, safety concerns, mechanical issues, or other conditions outside Alaska Rural Transit’s control.
Alaska Rural Transit may refuse, delay, modify, or stop service if a trip cannot be completed safely or reasonably.

Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for providing accurate pickup information, drop-off information, contact information, passenger count, luggage details, timing needs, and route information.
Customers are responsible for being ready at the confirmed pickup time and location.
Missed pickup times, customer-caused delays, route changes, additional stops, excess luggage, passenger count changes, or other material changes may require a revised quote or additional billing.

No-Call / No-Show
A no-call / no-show results in forfeiture of the deposit.
The customer remains responsible for the remaining balance of the trip. Alaska Rural Transit may invoice the customer for the remaining balance. If the customer has separately authorized a payment method for the remaining balance, Alaska Rural Transit may charge that authorized payment method as permitted by law, card network rules, and processor requirements.

Payment Method and Cash Discount
Rates shown are standard published fares.
Card payments are accepted at the standard published fare.
A 5% cash discount is available when the remaining balance is paid by cash or another approved non-card payment method.
The 5% cash discount applies only to eligible non-card payments. It does not apply to card payments, deposits paid by card, or payments already processed by card.
